Matsushita's new head vows to boost flat TV sales to 1 tril. yen

TOKYO, Japan - Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.'s new President Fumio Ohtsubo said July 7 his company will aim to increase sales of flat-panel TVs to 1 trillion yen in the coming years from the current 600 billion yen in fiscal 2005 to last March.
