Princess Kiko enters Tokyo hospital ahead of delivery
TOKYO, Japan - Princess Kiko, now 34 weeks pregnant with a possible heir to the throne, leaves for Aiiku Hospital in Tokyo's Minato Ward on Aug. 16 ahead of her expected delivery of her third child in early September. The princess has been diagnosed with a complication called partial placenta previa, and her hospitalization is aimed at ensuring a safe delivery, which will be carried out by Caesarean section.
