Sony unveils new Bravia flat-panel TVs for year-end sales race

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. on Aug. 30 took the wraps off its new Bravia flat-panel televisions for the Japanese market, hoping to consolidate a recovery in its mainstay electronics business during the upcoming year-end sales competition. The company came out with 11 new models of Bravia TVs, which it says feature higher quality picture technologies, better color appearances and improved designs.
