Police recognize woman as 17th N. Korea abduction victim
YONAGO, Japan - Mitsue Matsumoto wipes away tears at a news conference in Yonago, Tottori Prefecture, on Nov. 17 after the National Police Agency announced that it has formally recognized her daughter Kyoko, who has been missing since 1977, as the 17th Japanese victim of North Korean abduction.
