Tosa victorious in Tokyo over Takahashi
TOKYO, Japan - Reiko Tosa of Japan crosses the line at National Stadium to win the Tokyo International Women's Marathon in 2 hours, 26 minutes, 15 seconds. Tosa ran unchallenged in the final 11 kilometers after pulling ahead of Sydney Olympic gold medalist Naoko Takahashi Takahashi, who came third in 2:31:22, the second slowest in her career.
