Gov't eyeing biggest-ever cuts in new bond issuance in FY 2007

TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Shinzo Abe speaks to reporters at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on Dec. 11. Abe said the government will aim for ''the biggest-ever reduction'' in new government bond issuance in the fiscal 2007 budget compared with the current fiscal year.
