2nd bridge linking Thailand, Laos over Mekong River opens
MUKDAHAN, Thailand - A 1.6-kilometer bridge over the Mekong River connecting Thailand's Mukdahan Province and the Lao province of Savannakhet is opened on Dec. 20 as part of efforts to facilitate overland transport between Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.
