Vietnam textile industry faces stiff China competition
HANOI, Vietnam - Garment workers in Hanoi, the backbone of Vietnam's textile industry, the country's second largest export earner after petroleum. Vietnam's membership in the World Trade Organization gives it most-favored-nation status in trade with the United States, its biggest textile export market, but the Vietnamese textile industry faces stiff competition with China.
