High-speed trains based on Japan's bullet train debut in China
SHAGHAI, China - Passengers take photos in front of the CRH2 high-speed train at Shanghai South Railway Station on Jan. 28. The train modeled after a sophisticated East Japan Railway Co. bullet train called Hayate started operation on routes connecting Shanghai with Nanjing in Jiangsu Province and with Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province.
