Nikkei recovers 18,000 mark for 1st time in nearly 7 yrs
TOKYO, Japan - A signboard in Tokyo's Marunouchi district shows Japan's Nikkei stock index recovering the 18,000 mark on the morning of Feb. 22 for the first time in six years and nine months with export-oriented issues bought on the U.S. dollar's appreciation against the yen.
