Study finds no genetic effects of radiation in hibakusha offspring
HIROSHIMA, Japan - Toshiteru Okubo (R), chairman of the Radiation Effects Research Foundation, speaks at a news conference in Hiroshima on Feb. 28, after the foundation released a study concluding that there is no evidence linking the degree of radiation exposure suffered by people in the 1945 atomic bombings of Hiroshima or Nagasaki and lifestyle-induced illnesses among their children.
