Japanese SDF officers arrive in Nepal for U.N. mission
KATHMANDU, Nepal - Accompanied by a U.N. official, Japanese Self-Defense Forces officers leave the terminal of the Kathmandu international airport on March 31 after a flight from Japan. Japan has sent six SDF officers to Nepal to take part in a U.N. military observer mission under a cease-fire accord between the Nepalese government and Maoist rebels.
