Tokyo governor, reelection won, vows to bid for 2016 Olympics
TOKYO, Japan - Tokyo Gov. Shintaro Ishihara, ,74, is all smiles at a post-election news conference at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building on April 9, a day after he handily beat three challengers in winning reelection for a third four-year term. Ishihara vows to press Tokyo's bid to host the 2016 Olympic Games.
