Lake Toya resort in Hokkaido picked to host 2008 G-8 summit
SAPPORO, Japan - A photo taken on March 9, 2007 shows Lake Toya as viewed from the lobby of the Windsor Hotel Toya in the southern Hokkaido hot-spring resort of Lake Toya. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe picked the resort town on April 23 as one of sites for the summit of the Group of Eight nations in 2008.
