Top court denies right of Chinese individuals to seek war reparation
TOKYO, Japan - Two former Chinese laborers and relatives of three deceased workers walk to the Supreme Court with their supporters on April 27 to hear a court ruling on their damages suit. The top court later ruled that Chinese individuals have no right to demand war reparations from Japan under postwar agreements in its first ruling on the controversial issue.
