Matsuzaka named AL Player of the Week

NEW YORK, Japan - Boston Red Sox rookie right-hander Daisuke Matsuzaka of Japan speaks to reporters at Yankee Stadium in New York on May 21 after being named the American League Player of the Week. Matsuzaka received the honor for the first time in his young major league career.
