Japan to seek to settle abduction, 'unfortunate past' issues: Komura

NEW YORK, United States - Japanese Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura speaks at a U.N. General Assembly session in New York on Seot. 28. Komura expressed Japan's resolve to seek to normalize diplomatic relations with North Korea by resolving the issue of past abductions of Japanese citizens by North Korean agents as well as the issues of the ''unfortunate past.''
