Fukuda, Ozawa fail to agree on continuing refueling mission
TOKYO, Japan - Ichiro Ozawa, president of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan, speaks to reporters in the Diet building in Tokyo on Oct. 30 after talks with Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda. They failed to break the impasse over a bill for Japan to continue its refueling support for U.S.-led antiterrorism operations in and around Afghanistan.
