Kanemoto remains highest-paid Japanese player

NISHINOMIYA, Japan - Veteran Hanshin Tigers outfielder Tomoaki Kanemoto speaks at a news conference after re-signing for an estimated 550 million yen plus performance incentives at the club office in Nishinomiya on Dec. 27.
