Akiyama denies he got funds from defense firm Yamada
TOKYO, Japan - Naoki Akiyama, 58, executive director of the Japan-U.S. Center for Peace and Cultural Exchange, speaks as an unsworn witness at the House of Councillors' Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Jan. 8.
