Kawakami wins Akutagawa award, Sakuraba gets Naoki Prize
TOKYO, Japan - Mieko Kawakami (R), winner of the 138th Akutagawa Prize, and Kazuki Sakuraba (L), winner of the Naoki Prize, pose for photographers at Tokyo Kaikan in Tokyo on Jan. 16 after they were declared recipients of the two prestigious literary awards.
