Beijing Olympics swimming venue opens
BEIJING, China - The National Aquatics Center, one of the centerpieces of this year's Olympics in Beijing, was formally opened Jan. 28. The venue, known as the ''Water Cube,'' will host the swimming, diving and synchronized swimming competitions at the Beijing Games.
