TOKYO, Japan - Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko talk with local people as they take a stroll on a beach in the town of Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Feb. 1. The imperial couple arrived at the imperial villa in the town for a rest earlier in the day.
