Toyota eyes building new plants in China, India

NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. President Katsuaki Watanabe speaks in an interview with Kyodo News at the company's head office in the city of Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, on Feb. 14. Watanabe indicated Toyota is planning to build new plants in China and India to meet fast-growing demand in those emerging economies.
