Ishiba to sack MSDF chief over ship collision

TOKYO, Japan - File photo of Eiji Yoshikawa, chief of staff of the Maritime Self-Defense Force. Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba has decided to sack Yoshikawa for his failure to immediately distribute information concerning the collision between an MSDF destroyer and a fishing boat, ministry sources said Feb. 22.
