Golf: S. Korea's Shin beats Yokomine in playoff

KOCHI, Japan - South Korea's Shin Ji Yai lifts the winner's cup after she beat overnight leader Sakura Yokomine in a playoff on March 23 to win the Yokohama Tire PRGR Ladies Cup in her debut on the Japan LPGA tour. Shin, the South Korean tour's money title winner the past two years, birdied the fourth extra hole to seal the victory after both players finished the regulation 54 holes tied on 4-under-par 212 at Tosa Country Club in Kochi Prefecture.
