Creditors effectively end bankruptcy proceedings for AUM
TOKYO, Japan - Saburo Abe, a lawyer who serves as bankruptcy administrator of AUM Shinrikyo, speaks at a news conference in Tokyo on March 26 after a meeting of creditors of the cult group. Abe said victims of a series of crimes committed by AUM members are expected to receive only about 40 percent of what should be paid to them.
