UNCTAD chief Supachai urges effective technology-sharing scheme

TOKYO, Japan - Supachai Panitchpakdi, chief of the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development, speaks during an interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on March 25. Supachai urged Japan to exercise leadership in establishing an effective technology-sharing scheme at the upcoming Group of Eight summit which can draw cooperation from emerging economies in tackling global warming.
