Mitsubishi Fuso revives double-decker bus

TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. on April 2 launches a new double-decker bus three years after suspending its production of such buses. The new Aero King Highway Liner (photo), the only Japanese-developed double-decker bus, has six passenger seats on the lower deck and 30 on the upper deck.

                      Mitsubishi Fuso appoints Daimler's Boelstler as new president, CEO

                      TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corp. said May 31 that Harald Boelstler (file photo), currently in charge of its parent company DaimlerChrysler AG's Mercedes-Benz passenger car procurement section, will succeed current President and Chief Executive Officer Wilfried Porth. The appointment will take place after being approved at a regular shareholder meeting on June 27.
