Kosei Inoue, ex-judo world champion, retires
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese judoka Kosei Inoue speaks at a news conference in Tokyo May 2 announcing his retirement from the sport. ''I have no regrets,'' said Inoue, 29, who saw his Olympic hopes dashed after losing in the quarterfinals of the national judo championship on April 29. Inoue won the 2000 Sydney Olympic gold and three straight world titles from 1999.
