Hello Kitty named goodwill ambassador to promote tourism in China
TOKYO, Japan - Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Minister Tetsuzo Fuyushiba (C) poses with South Korean singer Younha (L) and a Hello Kitty mascot (R) at his ministry in Tokyo on May 19 after reappointing Younha as goodwill ambassador for tourism in South Korea for a second straight year and naming the feline cartoon character as ambassador to promote Japanese tourism in China.
