JAL's maintenance error causes fall of 2 panels from plane

TOKYO, Japan - File photo of a fiberglass panel found on a farmland in Katori, Chiba Prefecture in May. A maintenance error by Japan Airlines led to the fall of two fiberglass panels from a JALways plane during a flight from Narita International Airport to Sydney in May, JAL and the transport ministry said June 21. JALway is a subsidiary of Japan Airlines.
