Fishermen in Japan stay ashore to appeal over high oil costs

KARATSU, Japan - Fishermen stay ashore at a fishing port in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, July 15 as all member fishermen of the Japan Fisheries Cooperatives and 16 other major fisheries groups in Japan suspended operations in an attempt to raise public awareness of the predicament they face due to soaring fuel costs.
