Kenya's Wanjiru wins Beijing men's marathon
BEIJING, China - Kenya's Samuel Wanjiru crosses the finish line to win the gold medal in the men's marathon on the final day of the Beijing Games on Aug. 24. Wanjiru set a new Olympic record of 2 hours, 6 minutes, 32 seconds and gave Kenya its first-ever Olympic men's marathon gold.
