Tokyo stocks dive on Wall Street plunge, stronger yen
TOKYO, Japan - An electric board of a securities company in Tokyo's Marunouchi district shows stock prices declining across the board on the morning of Sept. 5. Tokyo stocks dived over 2 percent in the morning as investors were unnerved by mounting fears about the global economy, following an overnight plunge on Wall Street and the U.S. dollar's tumble versus the yen.
