Top amateur pitcher Tazawa to launch MLB bid

TOKYO, Japan - Junichi Tazawa, the ace pitcher of Nippon Oil Corp.'s baseball team, speaks at a news conference in Tokyo on Sept. 11. Tazawa said he will test the open market in North America by bypassing next month's draft in Japan.
