Envoys from Taiwan, Japan meet in symbolic nod to bilateral ties

TAINAN, Taiwan - John Feng, Taiwan's newly appointed envoy to Japan, speaks to reporters after inspecting the Wusantou Reservoir in Tainan, a Japanese colonial-era engineering feat that has tamed Taiwan's southern waters since 1930, on Sept. 12.
