Northbound shinkansen trains suspended due to signal glitch
TOKYO, Japan - Passengers walk along the tracks after getting off a Shinkansen train stuck between JR Tabata and Nishi-Nippori stations in Tokyo on Sept. 28. Trains on the Tohoku, Joetsu and Nagano Shinkansen lines were suspended for about four hours due to a signal malfunction.
