Japanese pop culture festival begins at Kansai airport
OSAKA, Japan - ''Cosplayers'' clad in uniforms who work in a ''maid cafe'' -- a type of coffee shop popular among anime fans -- pose on an observation deck at Kansai International Airport in Osaka Prefecture on Oct. 18 as the two-day Japan Pop Culture Festival 2008 began, showing a range of things including fashion and music inspired by animation and manga comics.
