Tokyo Tower lit in blue to commemorate World Diabetes Day

TOKYO, Japan - Tokyo Tower is lit up with blue lights in commemoration of the U.N.-designated World Diabetes Day on Nov. 14. Medical groups launched an event to light up the tower as well as other structures from Hokkaido to Kagoshima Prefecture, including Nagoya Castle in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, as part of their campaign to prevent the disease.
