PM Aso, opposition leader Ozawa face off at 1st parliamentary debate
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Taro Aso (2nd from R) and Ichiro Ozawa (L), leader of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan, face off during their first parliamentary debate on Nov. 28. During the debate, Aso brushed off Ozawa's call for the House of Representatives to be dissolved in December for a general election, saying the government cannot create a political vacuum amid the global financial crisis.
