Children skate on rink made of resin panels in Toyama

TOYAMA, Japan - Children skate on a rink made of resin panels opened by a public-private joint venture in the city of Toyama on Dec. 5. The 300-square-meter rink is environmentally friendly as it does not use water to make ice and can operate at half the cost of conventional ice rinks as it does not require a cooling system.
