OSAKA, Japan - Shinichi Fukushima (R), senior managing director of Panasonic Corp., takes part in a groundbreaking ceremony for a factory to manufacture lithium-ion batteries on the former premises of Kansai Electric Power Co.'s power generation plant in Osaka's Suminoe Ward on Jan. 19.
