Destroyer primary cause of collision with boat: tribunal
YOKOHAMA, Japan - Photo shows the bow (in front) of the fishing boat Seitoku Maru drifting in the Pacific off Chiba Prefecture on Feb. 19, 2008, after it split in two following the collision with Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer Atago equipped with the high-tech Aegis defense system. The two crewmembers on the fishing boat went missing. The Yokohama Marine Accident Tribunal on Jan. 22 determined that the destroyer was the main cause of the collision.
