Japanese pitcher Kawakami arrives in U.S. to join Braves training

ORLANDO, United States - Japanese pitcher Kenshin Kawakami speaks to reporters on arriving at Orlando airport Feb. 10 to start spring training of the Atlanta Braves, which he joined this year. Kawakami expressed both his anxiety about playing baseball in a foreign country and resolve to work hard, saying, ''I felt nervous and missed Japan (in the airplane)...But retiring before the season ends is the last thing I want to do.''
