'I'm likable for dogs, at least,' embattled Aso says
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso (R) gets an affectionate licking from a service dog in a meeting with Yoshitomo Kimura (L) and two other wheelchair users at his office on Feb. 13. The embattled prime minister, whose approval ratings have plunged below 20 percent, joked, ''I'm likeable for dogs, at least.'' The three people and their service dogs visited Aso to promote a service dog training facility which will open in Aichi Prefecture in May.
