U.N.-backed court opens 1st hearing on ex-Khmer Rouge jailer
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - People line up to attend the first hearing of the trial of notorious Khmer Rouge-era prison jailer Kaing Guek Eav, better known as Duch, on the outskirts of Phnom Penh Feb. 17. Duch is one of five Khmer Rouge figures being held at a detention center of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.
