Obama, Aso agree to boost ties, work to spur economy
WASHINGTON, United States - Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso (L) and U.S. President Barack Obama shake hands during their talks at the White House in Washington on Feb. 24. Aso and Obama agreed in their first meeting to strengthen the bilateral alliance and do their utmost to spur the world economy's recovery.
