Japan becomes winner of WBC 2nd pool by beating S. Korea 6-2
SAN DIEGO, United States - Japan's Michihiro Ogasawara hits an RBI single to right off South Korea pitcher Kim Kwang Hyun in the eighth inning of a game against South Korea to determine the winner of their second-round pool of the World Baseball Classic at PETCO Park in San Diego on March 19. Japan won 6-2 to play against the United States on March 22 in Los Angeles in the WBC semifinals.
