Ishikawa makes cut in Transitions Championship
TAMPA BAY, Florida - Up-and-coming Japanese teenage golfer Ryo Ishikawa hits a sand shot on the 5th hole during the second round of the Transitions Championship golf tournament on March 20 at Innisbrook Resort in Florida. He made the cut after shooting an even-par 142, which placed him in a group tied for 39th. At the age of 17 years and six months, Ishikawa became the youngest Japanese and the fifth-youngest player to make the cut on the U.S. PGA circuit, according to the PGA Tour.
